Our first taste experience of Salar smoked salmon was at the beginning of July 2007 when we came to the Outer Hebrides for a holiday. Following the first taste we have had Salar salmon sent to us several times and have recommended it to our friends. We've just come back from a holiday in France and cooked meals in our camper van in the evenings. Needless to say Salar salmon featured in our meals, helped of course by the very useful recipe book.

We received the order in excellent condition.

Yesterday afternoon we had an informal comparative tasting with the Flaky Smoked Salmon and a hot smoked Alaska sockeye salmon. I really wanted everyone to appreciate your marvellous, unique salmon.

In my experience with hot smoked salmon, it typically is quite dry and, more often than not, crumbly rather than flaky.

Simply put, there is no comparison. Flaky Smoked Salmon is in a class unto itself.   Dale Sims, USA

I love the delicious flavour of your wonderful smoked salmon. I bought some as a treat from the Delicatessen Counter at Howells Department Store in Cardiff and I used it that first time as a starter on its own with a little green salad, a slice of lemon and a dollop of Dijonnaise. It was fabulous!
