Steamed Eggs with Salar Flaky Smoked Salmon
recipe by Jacqui Coates, for 4 servings
Ingredients:
Salar Flaky Smoked Salmon
butter
4 free range eggs
black pepper
single cream
Method:
Lightly butter the inside of 4 ramekins and cover the bottom of each ramekin with flakes of Flaky Smoked Salmon.
Crack an egg into each ramekin, adding a grinding of black pepper.
Steam over a pan of boiling water for 6 - 8 minutes until the eggs are just cooked.
Remove from the steamer and pour a teaspoon of single cream on top of each egg.
Serve immediately with warm wholemeal bread rolls and butter.
