Salar Flaky Smoked Salmon Pie

A delicious addition to your picnic hamper that will go down a treat.

Ingredients:
8 oz. (225g) Salar Flaky Smoked Salmon
8 oz. (225g) flaky pastry
11 oz. (300g) can of condensed mushroom soup
salt
pinch of cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
beaten egg to glaze

Method:
Pre-heat oven to 450F, Gas Mark 7.

Line an 8 inch (22cm.) pie plate with rather more than half the pastry rolled thinly.

Put the Flaky Smoked Salmon, parsley, salt, lemon juice and cayenne pepper into a bowl. Add the mushroom soup and mix well.

Pour the mixture into the pastry case, damp the edges of the pastry and cover with the remaining pastry. Press edges together and knock up with the back of a knife. Brush with the beaten egg score the top and place in the pre-heated oven for 35-40 minutes.
